I think many people are being a bit overconfident about the quantum threat to on chain assets, especially on Solana. But if you look closely, this isn't something far fetched that will happen in a few decades it's something that's being prepared for right now. @quipnetwork Currently, if you hold assets on Solana, there are really only two options: One is to continue waiting. Waiting for the network to upgrade, waiting for new security solutions to be integrated, waiting for things to be safe in the future. That sounds good, but in return, you're completely passive. The other is to proactively address it now. Some projects like @quipnetwork are taking a rather interesting approach: allowing you to protect your assets against quantum risks without having to move them elsewhere. That means no bridging, no withdrawing, and no significant changes to your usage habits. What I find noteworthy is that they've added incentives meaning they not only provide protection but also reward early sign ups. This is a rather different approach compared to simply patching vulnerabilities as before. Personally, I see this as a clear shift in thinking about security: not waiting for risks to occur before addressing them, but starting to view security as something that can generate value from the outset.
